Sam Stuckey is a Nashville-based bluegrass bassist and vocalist with Nash Grass Unit, known for his strong rhythmic foundation and dynamic lead and harmony singing. Originally from the foothills of northern Appalachia along the Pennsylvania plateau, Stuckey was introduced to bluegrass music in 2012, sparking a deep connection to the tradition.

In 2020, he relocated to Nashville, Tennessee, where he quickly became an active presence in the city’s bluegrass and acoustic music scene. Since then, Stuckey has performed across the United States as a multi-instrumentalist, developing his sound through constant touring and live performance.

As the bassist for Nash Grass Unit, Stuckey anchors the band’s driving rhythm while contributing lead vocals and tight harmonies, helping shape the group’s high-energy progressive bluegrass sound.
